Registering

I am a new user. How do I register with Reporo?

To complete your registration with us, you'll just need to complete our short registration form which you can find at https://www.reporo.com/register.jsp. Once your registration is complete, a text message is sent to your phone from which you can download the application.

Your registration asks for my phone model type, how do I find this out?

To the right of the screen on the registration page, there is a link which shows pictures of your brand of phone, given that you've entered this in correctly. You should be able to choose your phone from here. Alternatively, if you take the battery out of the back of the phone, you will usually find the model number printed there.

My phone isn't listed what can I do?

Unfortunately, we are unable to create Reporo for all phones. The basic requirement is that your phone needs to support MIDP2 Java applications. If you are unsure, or think your phone does meet this requirement, please contact us via the support form.

Why do I chose a screen name during the registration process?

The screen name is what will be displayed as a tag when you use the Reporo texting, service or our chat rooms.

What happens if my mobile number comes up as already having been registered?

Each phone number can only be registered once. If you are beig told yours has already been used, please contact us and we will resolve this for you. If you have already registered you can send the latest version of Reporo to your phone at any time.

I am an existing Reporo user and would like to use the Instant Messaging and Texting services. What do I have to do?

The first step you'll have to do is to upgrade the Reporo version you have on your phone. This can be done from "Manage my Account" found at https://www.reporo.com/manage.jsp. Following that go to "Manage Text Settings" and select a screen name.
