How does shopping on my mobile work?
Why would I want to shop using Reporo?
In a word, freedom. Just as Reporo gives you the option to text and chat, Reporo also gives you the freedom to shop on the move. Whether you're on a bus, in the pub or sitting on your train, you can use Reporo. There's no need to be near a shop or at a computer. It's the ultimate in convenience!
How safe is shopping on my mobile?
Reporo is committed to providing a safe and secure mobile shopping experience. When completing your order, your details are passed instantly to the retailer via a secure link. Payments are processed through the retailer's established payment provider, just like when you shop online. Payments are fully encrypted, and stored on a secure server. Your details are never sent across the mobile network or stored on your phone. Payment must be activated with your 4-digit PIN at the time of purchase. Only you know this number - just like your bank card. Without the PIN, your credit card cannot be charged.

Getting Started with Using Reporo
How do I locate the shops within your application?
Our shops can be located in the "Great Shops on your Mobile" link that you can find in the Reporo main page when you run your application. For easy and convenience, we display these in categories such as "Cds & Dvds" and "Hotels & Travel".
How do I shop?
Shopping with us is easy. Click on the category you want and you will then see a list of shops to choose from. Under your Options/Menu button (depending on your phone), you'll find all your main shopping commands, such as Search, My Reporo, Add to Shopping Basket, and Buy Now. Once you're decide on the item you want to buy, place your item in the Reporo Basket and proceed to Checkout as you normally would when using online shopping on the Internet.
How do I use the "Search" facility?
Our search option allows you search for a particular item you have in mind. This search will run across all the shops we host and return to you a list of results for that item. Search results are displayed in sub categories.
What is "My Reporo"?
This is your personalised space on Reporo where you can view "order history", place repeat orders and "saved searches". You will find "My Reporo" listed under the categories within a shop.
About payment
How will my credit card be used and protected when shopping on my mobile?
Shopping on Reporo is as safe as shopping on the retailer's website. Neither your credit card details, nor any other payment or personal information is stored on your phone.
Your details are never sent across the mobile network. Information is fully-encrypted, and stored on a secure server. Once you complete a shopping transaction, the payment itself is processed online, just as if you are shopping online.
Charges can only be made by inputting a personal 4-digit PIN number, known only to you. If you lose your phone, no one will be able to access your account or credit card details, since they won't have access to your secure PIN number.
How is my PIN used?
Only you can complete a purchase by entering your personal PIN number. Your PIN number is transmitted securely to our secure systems to access & release your credit card payment details to the retailer. Just like your bank card in an ATM, only you know this number, and your account will be locked if there are wrong attempts when the PIN is entered.
How do I pay for goods in my shopping basket?
When you have added any required items to your basket, select 'Buy now' from the basket page. You will then see an order summary - if this looks right select 'Make payment'. Selecting this will take you to a screen which asks you for your four-digit PIN number. It will also ask you to confirm which credit card you would like to use and where you would like the goods delivered.
Once you have selected these, press the Option/Menu button and select 'Confirm'.
This will complete your purchase. You will receive a confirmation text (in the case of your first order) and a confirmation email once your payment has been cleared.
What if my phone is stolen and somebody tries to buy things?
You can only buy things on Reporo if you correctly input your PIN number. This means that no one else can use your phone to shop for themselves.
What do I do if I change my credit card?
Simply log onto www.reporo.com, open your account, change your details and resend Reporo to your phone. You will need your password and pin number to do this.
Go to the edit wallet page (you will need to log in and enter your PIN). From here you can add, edit or delete credit cards and delivery addresses in your Reporo wallet.
I've forgotten my PIN, what do I do?
For your added security, your PIN number is not stored and is known only to you. Therefore, you will need to create a new Reporo account if you forget your PIN number. If this is necessary, contact us via our support form and we can close your existing account first.
I've forgotten my password, what do I do?
Follow the account re-activation process and you will be able to set a new password. This process includes you having to follow a link which is emailed to you.
